Teleca and Microsoft
Corp. has agreed to expand its three-year relationship with the company
by commissioning Teleca to integrate most of the components of its
Obigo mobile phone software with Windows Mobile to meet the
requirements from a top mobile operator. The order value is in the
multi-million dollar range.
Teleca will be selling products
(Obigo) and services in parallel with Microsoft to the mobile phone
manufacturers developing and selling Windows Mobile 5.0-based phones.
Juha,
What will this deal mean for Microsoft, and what will it mean for the competition within the Mobile business?
